Once it is framed, I guess she will have to decide where to put her darling boy (and friends)

I want to know what my friends' owner(s) have to say about this piece of art.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com51tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-71398570717400754892008-01-09T13:38:00.000+08:002008-01-10T11:27:08.648+08:00Painting of 10dogsYes I have been Missing In Action for a loooooooooooong time. I have been training very hard to get the macho image of having 6packs (not kidding. Read on and you will find out how I did it)

Anyway, who needs to blog when you have blogger friends.

Believe me, I don’t need to blog because all my friends are blogging for and about me - my bed (thanks to Joey), my home and the activities that goes on (thanks to Helios), my Christmas tree, my Christmas ornaments, my Christmas food (thanks to Huskee) etc etc etc.

Thank you guys for all your help (now I can go back to bed)

Well, it is high time, I should blog about something. Hmmmmmm what shall it be!!!!!

Ok ok how about 'A Painting of 10Dogs'

My mom is so proud of a group doggie picture taken on Christmas 2006 where 7 of my friends came to my pawty and so she decided to have the picture painted by a professional artist.

….here is the 2006 group doggie (Christmas Pawty) picture.

Mom was introduced to a Mr. Hu, an artist / painter in China. After looking at his work, she decided to commission him to paint the group doggie picture.

That’s not all she wanted; I think she was trying to make life difficult for this Mr. Hu. Ready for this - she wanted 10dogs in the picture instead of 8. Make me wonder if this Mr. Hu is a painter or a magician!!!!!

(Abracadabra - 10dogs it will be).

VERY SPECIFIC instructions were given and trust me, I mean
VERY SPECIFIC.
Instructions like
1) Well, before giving the instructions, Auntie S (Helios' mom) and my mom have to ‘number’ all 8 of us

2) Next, she told Mr. Hu to move no.5 closer to no. 4 (i.e. move Chewie the black/white Husky closer to Rafv the red / white Husky)

3) Remove the leash from no. 8 (the Jack Russell Terrier on the extreme right)

4a) Add Huskee (my Little Big Brother) in, next to no.6

4b) Huskee's mom sent the above picture (gosh how is this painter to know the actual size of Huskee. He could paint him the size of another Golden Retriever of a Siberian Husky). Smart thinking of Auntie S and the painter was told, to take note that Huskee is slightly bigger than no.6 as can be seen in the below picture (Remember, Mr Hu has no clue about dog breeds so size is a big blur to him)

5) Lastly, only paint the dog on the right and add it next to Huskee's right side (and he is bigger than Huskee)

6) Blah blah blah blah blah

I honestly thought she was mad. If I am the painter, I will say no to the job.

She told Auntie G, Auntie S and my godma (Huskee’s mom) about it and I think they think she was mad too.
Questions were asked, like
“how on earth does he know the size of Huskee and Helios in comparison to the other dogs”
“From a picture, can he capture the essence of our dogs??”
"what if it didn't turn out the way you like"
etc etc etc etc

Last week, she was informed that the painting was ready and this sweet painter send his painting to us via email.
The actual painting will be collected soon and hopefully we will get it within the next couple of weeks.
Voila – here it is

Compare this with the above

Helios' mom commented that Mr Hu has given me 6pack abs (Thank you Mr. Hu. Now you know why I have been missing in action. Yes I have been in body building classes). Auntie G said Jack look like he has put on weight (actually he look the same as in the original photo). Huskee's mom said the painting look so life like. Mom said Herbie look so angelic.

All of us agreed that Huskee look the best and we have come to the conclusion that Mr. Hu must have seen and love the movie Shaggy Dog (don't you agree Huskee look like Shaggy Dog)

Everyone was really impressed by Mr Hu and his painitng. I think our owners are deciding to ask Mr Hu to paint their darlings (watch out friends – more posing for nice pictures so your mom can send them over for painting).

Great to be back.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-87738852456578326482008-01-08T09:45:00.000+08:002008-01-08T17:55:01.608+08:00Tribute to my godbrother, Muscles (So long pal)

It's hard for me to find any words to convey how both my mom and I feel about losing Muscles. We both have so many, many things to say and think about.

Muscles is the only reason why mom got me. She learned so much about Muscles from my godpapa that I am the result of the best behave bull terrier around.

Well, there really is nothing I can say. I love my godbrother, and we will never forget him.

Muscles loves his family, and his family loves him. He loved it when his dad took him to the woods – running free and chasing dogs.

Muscles was a happy dog, especially with this dad. His daddy always carries his pictures with him. If Muscles wasn't sleeping in the picture, he was smiling. They are ones of happiness.

Muscles, you will have a place in our hearts, for the rest of our lives. We will remember you for what you are, and we will love you for who you will always be.

In the end though, this isn’t about impact, legacy, or zest for life. It is simply about LOVE. Love especially from his daddy, my mom and I. More importantly the 16years of love given by Muscles to his dad.

Rest in peace my dear godbrother and may you enjoy your new friends over at the rainbow bridge ( a change from both Hong Kong and Boston ).

We will miss you dearly.

A special note to my godpapa - Please don't be sad. Although you are a so far away in cold Boston, I am sending you loads of licks, kisses and warm thoughts. If you need to hug a bullie, you know where to get it.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com208tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-34856366498860075902007-10-25T15:58:00.000+08:002007-10-26T10:31:05.994+08:00A thorny affairA stinking king with nasty thorns, was my rendezvous last night. Of course this stinking king like all of us, have a name. He is DURIAN the king of fruit.

My mom’s love of durians had made me a lover of the fruit king.

For my friends, who have never heard of durian and for those who thinks it stinks...YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING.

For durian lovers, the smell is fragrant. For those averse to it, the smell is repugnant. Ohhhhhhhhhh that smell. 'Quick open it'

There are many myths relating to the consumption of durian (it does not bother me but through my observation, human do funny things).

1st myth – Never drinks alcohol and eat durian. Durian is considered a “heaty” fruit, and alcohol is also "heaty." If you have to eat and drink, maybe beer is fine. Beer is considered to be “cooling”

2nd myth – Yin and Yang, King and Queen: By balancing the heatiness, the consumption of a “cooling” fruit must be considered – the mangosteen.

3rd myth – Eating too much durian, will cause sore throat. The customary thing to do is put a pinch of salt into the seed pod, add water and drink directly from the pod (the inside shell)

4th myth – After eating the fruit, the aromatic scent will linger on your fingers To remove the smell from your fingers, just wash your hand in running tap water over the thorny part of the durian shell (my godma aka Huskee’s mom will not wash her fingers in running water over the thorns ........shhhhhhh !!!! hopefully she finds this funny or I am in deep trouble).

All the myths don't bother me at all. Thousands of dogs are bought or adopted, so do I want to know where I came from? The answer is NO.

All I know is this person has given me so much love and attention that she is the only mom I know and I don’t really care where I came from or who brought me to this world.

19th September 2003, I was put on an airplane heading for Singapore. I was tiny and I was scared, stressed and cold. I have to admit, I slept most of the way.

I arrived to a hot morning in Singapore on 20th September and within 3hours, I was picked up my 2 people (mom and dad). Mom had second thoughts about taking me home (I heard her whispering to my dad “you know I don’t like barky dogs and this one here is REALLY barky). I was indeed the the most vocal among all the puppies.
4years has passed and I am happy we found each other.

I love you very much mom and Happy 4th Annipawsary.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-39109440004929381362007-07-15T20:53:00.001+08:002007-07-15T21:10:37.390+08:00Bye bye to redness and itch (on my paws)Why are my paws red and itchy? Why can’t the humans allow me to chew them?

Don’t they know the redness and itch on my paws is an extremely frustrating experience?

The humans (vet included) said mine is a bacterial infection and the story goes to find a ‘cure’ to my frustrating experience because by this time, my paws look terrible.

Mom (god bless her) tried everything she can think of (including advice from her friends).
She went to the pet shop and bought medicated shampoo and some soothing balm. That helped a little but I was allergic to the particular brand of medicated shampoo so that didn’t help much.

Someone suggested calamine lotion. This was a wee drying to my skin so it was alternated by rubbing hydrocortisone cream and aloe Vera.

Some of my friends (whom I shall not name) have Neem oil added to their shampoo. YES my experience with the Neem oil begins (Ohhhhh, let me tell you that Neem oil smells Soooooooooo bad).

To boost me up internally, I am given royal jelly and flaxseed oil too.

Two months back, my skin condition got from bad to worse so the vet had a visit from me. After consultation, we came home with the following – mild shampoo, chlorhexidine
which is an antiseptic solution

and steroid tablets

Mom didn’t like the idea of the steroid tablets and strict instruction was given to Auntie Sam “give Scuba the tablet for today and tomorrow, then stop". She said steroids are often given to stop the itch without really addressing the underlying cause and the itching will return. Worst, long term use of steroids can result in many health problems.

Do you think all of them work? NO (maybe I didn’t complete the tablets)

By this time, my mom is pulling her hair out trying desperately to find something to ease my itch and redness.

Finally she discovered something when she was in China and voila after application of her discovery, I am not chewing that much and my redness is disappearing.

Mom came up with this brilliant idea - Chinese tea. She said something triggers the idea and ever since then, Auntie Sam has been making tea for my paws.

Where did she buy the tea? Well, she was in Shanghai last week and she bought back her ‘Tea Pawfect Concoction’. The pawfect concotion is made up of green and osmanthus oolong tea.
Mom said with its potent antibacterial qualities, green and oolong have some unique powers in dealing with a range of common skin complaints. These include relieving the swelling and itchiness to the treatment of more prolonged skin conditions such as Eczema. Not surprisingly, many scientists, are slowly unveiling just how beneficial the green tea can be on this unpleasant skin disorder.
Thanks to my tea cleansing and regular brushing, I have said goodbye to red itchy paws

Thank goodness my mom didn’t brush it aside and assume this chewing business is behavioral.

Well I hope whoever is suffering out there, can now have something new and natural to try.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com36tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-13699308775147437002007-06-28T23:08:00.001+08:002007-06-28T23:25:36.552+08:00Life of a miniature bull terrier in Sunny SingaporeI was born in Australia and now living in Sunny Singapore.

Click to play | Make your own Smilebox

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com24tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-57010331830981750582007-06-24T15:20:00.000+08:002007-06-25T15:25:37.607+08:00I am turning 4 this MondaySo what is the significance of 4 to me?

<img style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; He arrived last weekend and immediately wanted to see me.

We both have so much fun together. Mom said he spoils me too much and, why shouldn’t I be treated this way?

We both had been going out together (you know doing the boys things and I believe my mom is soooooooooo very jealous of me).

For the many friends and their owners who know me, I normally ‘trance’ at the park and my middle name is ‘STATUE’. For some strange reason, I feel alive with him around and this bout of energy just came from nowhere.

Like last Sunday, he took me to the park and I had so much fun. It was like a bull terrier gathering cos Badger and Toro were there. It was quite a sight and people around were so amazed to see us play..

Yes, we are fearless and energetic and are not for the fainthearted but we have the ability to amuse you with our clownish antics and are friendly toward people and other dogs so I don’t see why the humans make so much fuss about the bull terriers.

See I love humans and dogs

And here is me running with other dogs

Now back to my godpa’s visit……
The highlight of my time with him – SLEEPING. Being a heavy boy of 23+kgs, not many human will carry me and let me sleep on their lap (plus a couple of kisses and hugs here and there while being - on his lap) Ohhhhhh!!!!! he is the sweetest person.

The other thing I love about him is, he does not agree with my mom’s training (I won’t even go there to tell you what she does to me when I am ‘naughty’). He said to her “Yes, this breed requires a firm hand and patience. With positive training, they will learn although sometimes, they get a little stubborn”.

He keeps telling mom that she should from now practice PAWSITIVE training with me ………Phew!!!! I can’t imagine him see how Auntie G punish Jack & Joey or Auntie S with Herbie and Helios.

We are pawfect for each other and I love him so very much.

Wonder if mom will let me go to Boston with him??????

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-32830787186085097082007-05-16T09:26:00.001+08:002007-05-16T11:34:01.168+08:00No goodbyes just - SO LONG MY DEAR FRIEND FUFUTo see the number of Doggies and their owners comment on FuFu’s blog, has to be a real fitting end for a little dear famous mousy friend. Indeed, FuFu did enjoy a long wonderful life. We are in a state of shock.

FuFu was such a funny, entertaining, never fails (to visit all our blogs) supportive hamsterrier to be around.

I remember Christmas last year when I received my first Christmas gift. Not only FuFu thought of me but he also was kind to acknowledge Rafv (my Siberian Husky friend) and sent him a Christmas gift too.

Auntie Eil, I know you will miss FuFu immensely. During this difficult time, my mom and I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of all who love FuFu, will strenghten you and we will hold you in our thoughts.

Remember that all the doggies in the doggie blogs care about you and are thinking about you in this time of sorrow. We pray that beautiful angels be sent to comfort you.

He was so thoughtful and so loved by all of us and we want you to know that because of his sweetness, FuFu has a place reserved specially for him in Doggie’s heaven (It has been reserved for him by all the doggies he has touched) and he is playing with all of them now.

So long my dearest friend. I will definitely miss not seeing your comments in my blog.

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-70474063039304904012007-05-06T14:58:00.000+08:002007-05-07T14:32:23.113+08:00Fate/Chance - They work in mysterious ways2 weeks ago, when mom was in Shanghai, she found out from the ‘bull-terriers@yahoogroups.com’ that Badger a English bull terrier in Singapore needs to find a home quickly because his owner is moving to Germany for work and that Bullies are banned there. What is wrong with the Germans? Can’t they get along with the English?

The request came from a bull terrier breeder down in Australia and mom made contact with her. Mom was given the owner’s name and she promised to call when she returns home. She did and was told Badger has found a new home. Badger’s new owners love bullies and have one of their own too, called Toro. She provided the feedback to the breeder and since then has been hoping that Badger did indeed find himself a good home and that he will be loved. I can tell, she has been thinking of Badger heaps.

Then this morning something amazing happen………..….
…. Herbie’s and Helios’ mom called and told her that there are 2 bull terriers at the park (you see, it is quite a rare sight to see bull terriers anywhere, so when they are spotted, guess who get calls).
It was then 9am and poor me got ‘DRAAAAAG’ out of bed to go to the park and meet my kind.

Snoooooooooooooooooooooozing with my toy. Pleeeeeeeease don't wake me

It is not easy to drag me out from my beauty sleep. So in between that time, mom made several request of Auntie Sharon, 1) to ask the owner to wait so ‘we’ (I wished it was just ‘I’ not we) can rush to the park. Mom also has Auntie Sharon find out 2) if one of them is Badger (she said deep down inside, she has a very storng feeling that one of the bull terrier is Badger…… I think humans call this feeling - intuition).
Biiiiingo she was right, it is Badger. So, the more she want to go and meet him.

She drove like a crazy woman to the park - HEY, I didn't have a seat belt on.
Well, we met at the park, humans exchange numbers, and pictures were taken and the ‘you know who and who with which bull terrier and the you know how stubborn these bulls are, etc etc…

Toro, Moi and Badger

Pardon the 'space out' look Hey I not only look sleepy, I am sleepy. But I got loads of hugs from Badger’s new owner so I guess that made me a happy boy.

When we got back, I was given a treat for being a Good Boy and mom went to upload the pictures and send it to the breeder down in Australia and Badger’s owner.

Guess everyone is happy. I am particularly proud of my mom for following up. Bravo to her.

Now I can add 2 more bullies to my list of friends.

I am so glad Badger has found a loving home.

(I overheard my mom telling all my Aunties that now she has found a Bull Terrier breeder, she may consider having a puppy. I was hoping he will bring my godbrother, Muscles but he is not. Muscles is 14years old and I don’t think he will enjoy the journey.

Mom said Muscles is the reason why she have me. She was so fascinated by Muscles’ behaviour, attitude and personality that she swore she was going to get an English Bull Terrier next. Her NEXT was like 7years later. Before me, dad and her good self, both have a mongrel named Tara and a German Shepherd named Scuba (yes my older sister was Scuba and I am ScubaToo).

She has been telling me and is still telling me how handsome Muscles is (hey I have feelings too!!!!, but thank goodness I have loads of aunties, uncles 2 godmothers and a godfather who love me).

Here is a picture of handsome Muscles with his daddy (aka my godpa)

I once heard a Uncle Jean Philippe telling my mom, she was going round Europe to find the ‘men’ she enjoys (no hard feelings mom. I love you still) – a German to start with, now a English gentleman and ohhhh la la, neeext a French lover (for those who don’t know what I mean – I am referring to her, then having a German Shepard, and now me the English Bull Terrier and who knows - next peut-être a French Bulldog (hehe could be a French poodle).
C'est la vie maman. I have been having an ITCH. I am itching to go out and find my mum but since I am not allowed to go out on my own, I just have to chew my itchy paws.

Mom went to Hong Kong for work (and so she said) but I found out, she went for the 7s.

What is the 7s? I don’t exactly know but she has been was away for 7days.

Her answer – 7s is short for Rugby 7s. Rugby 7s is a variation of Rugby Union and is made of 7 players. Each match is made up of two 7minute halves (14mins). According to her, this is more than a sporting event and without a doubt the biggest event of the year in HK. One of the most important rules of the game is that players must pass the ball backwards or sideways but never forwards. How strange is that!!. I can’t read so I asked Auntie S to read and tell me what was written in the newspaper.

If you have been reading my blog, you will remember I posted about Chewie back in March last year. Time flies and I am glad there is closure. If you wish, the link to my short post last year: http://scubatoo.blogspot.com/2006/02/clean-bill-of-health-to-chewie.html

I am glad justice has been done for Chewie.

I am sure there are many humans out there who must have read the article. Some may be standing on Chewie’s and Uncle J’s side whilst some may do otherwise. That is ok for everyone is entitled to their opinion.

After his discharge from Doggie Hospital, Chewie came to my house to recuperate and I had been with him - talking to him trying to make him happy, until the day we went home. Our owners decided Chewie was not going back to his home to recuperate and convinced Uncle J to let him stay at my place. Uncle J agreed.
Not many people know but Mom grew fond of Chewie and was sadden the day Chewie went home.

His first week after discharged

Chewie can lie on his left side after spending a few months in the playpen.

If you have seen his condition, you will feel that NO DOG should be treated like that i.e. beaten by some sick psycho.

Why am I calling this person a psycho?

- how can a man have a female name as a surname ( joking)

- how can a normal person beat a living thing when he / she / it is defenseless (Chewie was tied to grille)

- how can a normal human ‘trick’ his future mother in law into paying for his petrol and meal (bet you guys didn’t know that. Chewie told me one afternoon. Chewie didn’t like the way his grandma was treated)

- how can a sensible man insist and demand that his future mother in law prepares his morning tea / coffee / breakfast for him.

- how can he continue to whack Chewie with the bamboo pole despite the neighbours shout - begging him to stop.

- How can he offer to buy Uncle J another dog to replace Chewie. For all parents – if your child have behavioral problems, how would you feel if someone says to you “give your child up, there are others in the orphanage. I will find you a better behave one”

- How can one be sure Chewie's aunt won't be beaten up if she ends up marrying him

For those human out there who do not know Chewie, let me give you a brief history. Chewie didn’t have a happy puppyhood. His first owners gave him up. Uncle J felt sorry for him and adopted Chewie. With Uncle J’s love, Chewie was able to socialise with other dogs.

During his recuperation, his close friends and their owners visited him everyday. Friends like Rafv, Joey, Jack, Tommy, Herbie and Buddy (and others whom I do not have their pictures)

I can tell you even my feline siblings knew he was not well.

For all my human friends out there – please do not ASSUME if you don’t know the whole story.
My dear mom always say – MEDIA HYPE (don’t they get the facts right !!!!)

Just remember ASSUME is – to make a ASS out of U and ME

If anyone wants to know how Chewie is doing? He is doing great. Able to run and hop. He spent last Sunday with us at the beach and even attempted to swim.

He celebrated Christmas at my home last year.

Love, Scuba

Scuba the Muscle Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09466421623587019553noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18824917.post-60294852237132150112007-03-05T15:32:00.000+08:002007-03-05T15:57:19.453+08:00This is the Year of the Golden PigBecause of that Golden Pig (whoever she or he is), my mom went out to buy the Movie – Babe: Pig in the City and made me watch it with her.

She keeps saying “Scuba, look Babe and the Bull Terrier look so much alike… (minus Babe’s curly tail). At one stage, she keeps calling me Scuba Babe or Scuba Baby. I think the worst thing she has referred me to be, is “The Platinum Pig”. She said I am white (that’s platinum) and I look like a PIG.

Anyway, the movie taught me three things; COMPASSION, KINDNESS AND FORGIVENESS.

Greatest mistake – at the end of the movie, they refer us the English Bull Terriers as Pit Bulls.

The Lunar New Year is celebrated over 15days and yes, yesterday the 04th of March was the 15th day. Our owners decided to bring us to the beach (it was relaxing for them after 15days of visiting relations and friends and getting drunk and too much card games and mahjong)

Did I hear beach? HELP!! HELP!! SOMEONE HELP!! (Me squealing). NO SWIMMING PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!
Of course I was made to go in the water.

Do I look like I enjoyed the water? Noooooooooooooooo

After the water, I was allowed to do anything I like. So I decided I was going to run away before anyone put me back into the water.

FREEDOM
...or maybe I can pass myself off as a dalmatian (look at those dalmatian spots. Maybe he is a cat in wolf’s dressing.

I am serious, Rafv talks to Pepper all the time (especially when they are together in a corner)

Rafv, I heard your mummy wanted to bring Pepper home to keep you happy and worse, she may get you a kitten or a cat (for good). Before you are doom to have a feline as a sibling. I think you should tell your mummy the difference between dogs and cats

Dogs
A dog thinks:
Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me... They must be gods!

A cat thinks:
Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me... I must be a god!

Dogs are faithful, affectionate, and courageous;
Cats are independent and are loners

Dogs concentrate on dominance and submission, play and are selflessly heroic. Dogs don’t put so much details in their surroundings
Cats are physically and mentally capable of exploring their surroundings in great detail.

To be fair to our human owners, studies have shown that pet owners are usually happier, compassionate, more independent and feel more secure than people without pets. Pet owners make friends easier, suffer less from loneliness and bounce back from grief faster. Pet owners are also more active and take better care of themelves. Bravo to our owners

So Auntie R, the more pets the merrier and it is ok for Rafv to have a feline sibling.

ps If you recall my last post and my last picture (cover the bits), my one and only female sibling Ginger, has to cover her face to sleep. You can’t expect us to read a book, watch TV or waste our time on the computer (oops isn’t this what I am doing right now)

This article is dedicated to Auntie G – she laughed at me when I was in Snoozeland.

Like humans, we do have certain sleeping positions. And like them, how we sleep will determine the kind of doggie we are.

I am a bull terrier and I can only say this about myself. I like curling up to make myself like a ball, rest my little egg shape head on one paw, and then tuck my muzzle and nose and eyes under anything.
This position is what the human refer to as the Foetus. Apparently, this position described one as tough on the outside with a sensitive heart.

Ha!! The one thing you don’t know is. Although this position may imply that we are sleeping hard but hang on, we are not. We may be more awake then you think.

I also enjoy sleeping on my back with four paws in the air. I promise you, I am not doing it just to look like a weirdo or what Auntie W said, I look like I am in rigor mortis. We have less fur on our tummies so when we fell hot, we tend to sleep this way – to cool us down

How about this one? When we lie back to back or side by side – we are simply bonding with one another. And when we are in this position, we are bonding with you. It is our way of showing affection and the desire to be with other dog or human

Then there are some of us bullies who sleep on our side with both arms out in front. Bet you didn’t know that this position depict an open nature but can be suspicious and cynical. Humans call this position Yearner.

What about times when we need extra boost for our head. This position is called Hang Over

Or the one that does not permit flashing around. Maybe we can call this ‘cover the bits’

Have you ever seen us making strange little yelping noises while moving our legs and paws? Of course we are dreaming. Perhaps chasing a rabbit, a rodent, a ball or importantly FOOD.

As for me, no one can wake me up (I bet Auntie G will agree. She has a video of me doing just that).
The best I can do when anyone calls me is, I will probably open one slanty beady little eye to let you know I am not missing anything.

p/s - So so so glad to be back after so long.
