Who says Santa only delivers presents on Christmas Eve?

I got a BIG present from Mr. Santa Paws last night (he was right, I was fast asleep. Me in snoozeland)
Waiting for Santa

He left a big present for me:
Xmas present from Santa 004

In keeping with the tradition, I am not allowed to open my presents until Christmas morning – What a bummer!!!! Don’t understand the humans, why do they bother to wrap gifts and then unwrap it. Doesn’t make sense to me.

If you have read my earlier blog, you may remember I asked Santa Paws to grant me some wishes. He had granted me 2.

The first wish was for Rafv and Tommy to make up and be best of pals again.
Christmas at Scuba's house 021
Rafv's eyes are closed not because he look worrried. He closes his eyes when he is relax and when he is happy, he sticks out his tongue. Tommy is so sweet, he has his front left paws on Rafv (a great gesture of offering your paws as a sign of friendship).
(Eat your heart out, Auntie W and Auntie R - to see your boys together)

The second was for Herbie to overcome his fear of cats

Sorry I miss you and the reindeers and a BIG Thank you for my present and the 2 wishes.

Sam-I-Am (The GR)

I am relieved he is not the Sam-I-Am that I know

This was on today's newspaper in Singapore. The wordings were

LOST DOG REUNITED WITH OWNER

A pet golden retriever thought to have been lost for good was finally found – two years later and hundreds of miles away from home.

Owner Alice Baines and her family, who live in South Tampa, Florida, lost Sam-I-Am in 2004 when a hurricane destroyed their backyard fence.

No one knows how Sam turned up as a stray in Illinois last week. It was unlikely he walked because there was no damage to his paws.

A microchip inserted into the dog helped shelter workers identify him.

Last Thursday, a grateful Ms Baines flew to Chicago to take Sam home. When they were reunited, Sam stepped on her feet and then sat on them – just like always

I am having problems with Blogspot.

I have been trying for days to send a note to my dearest Ms. Sunshade and could not post a response.

My mom has lost my password to The Bone Zone. WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!!!!

The message to my girlfriend in Canada reads:

Dearest SuperDale

The Mailman pass my test - HURRAY (I did it on purpose).

Doggie love for each other has no boundaries. It can travel miles and miles and still reach one's love (you can say I do a lot of meditation and telepathy training lately......ohhh just in case the sticker falls off). Glad you got my card.

Love, Scuba

A letter from Santa Paws

I have been receiving many Christmas cards from my friends who are near, not so near and dear BUT yesterday there was an envelope from the North Pole.

I thought Mr. Polar Bear saw my blog and decided to send me a card. Gee was I excited.

It wasn’t Mr. Bear. It was a card from Mr. Santa Paws.

Here is the card from Mr. Paws

Mr. Paws confirmed that I have been a good boy and he has seen my name on his list

Wow, I am sooooooooo excited and have been jumping for joy every moment I think of the North Pole card

My Letter to Santa Paws

with laptop

Dear Santa Paws

I hope you and Mrs. Paws are doing well.

I have tried very hard to be a good dog this year and I am sure I have been a very good boy; I want to tell you a few things I would like to have for Christmas.

First, I would like to have a strong tummy, so I can have all the food on the table.

On the subject of food, can I have gourmet treats (with no artificial preservatives) to last me for the whole year

As for toys, will you please bring me one of those heavy-duty tug toy.

For wellbeing, I would love a life time membership to a spaw ( should mom find a good one).

If you cannot bring me the above, I have 3 very special personal wishes. I certainly hope you can grant them. They are
1) Rafv and Tommy to make up and be best of pals again.
2) Help Herbie overcome his fear of cats
3) Hope you bring lots of foodies for all the doggies who do not have a home
4) Wish my mom and godma will win the jackpot (this is a combine wish from Huskee and I)

I look forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve (still hopeful you bring the treats). I promise not to chase the reindeer but shout ‘howlo’ before you come and place my pressies / wishes under the tree.

I will be sure to leave you cookies and milk on Christmas Eve. And also home made oatmeal cookies for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner/Donder, Blitzen, and Rudolph

Thank you Santa

Loads of tail wags and licks
Scuba

PS. please, please don’t let my mom make me wear those silly Christmas attire.

The 2Ws of Christmas

It is not Woof Woof.

Rather, I it is about Christmas being White or Warm.

White Christmas

My godbrother, Muscles is freezing in Boston, MA

My friends Maddie and Buddy who are in Canada are also freezing and they are telling me their paws are sooooo cold.

I shall not tell Rafv, the 3 of you are ROUGHING (sorry about the pun but I am sure this will put a smile on Auntie R’s aka Rafv’s mummy’s face) it out in the snow.

If ever there is an 'exchange program', I am sure Rafv will be the first to put up his paw.
Rafv will love to be in the snow……..unfortunately, he is in the wrong country. Or the human will say: he is in the wrong place a the wrong time (Gee, a double whammy for him)

Hand in hand with the Ws, are the 2S (SNOW and SUN)

3 breeds i.e. Bull Terrier, Siberian Husky and Golden Retriever) enjoying themselves in the SNOW

Warm Christmas

My mate Opy who is down under is definitely not liking the heat and I don't blame him. Sometimes the weather in Singapore is like that (I don't mind the heat but it is the humidity that gets to everyone)

My friends and I have no idea what it is like to be in the snow or what it is like to be freezing. The above pictures of this white stuff all around does not give me a comfortable feeling (unlike the Siberian Huskies and the Golden Retrievers, I don’t have much hair) .

I may not like the white stuff on the ground but I sure do love the yellow round ball up in the sky - the SUN

sun

Because of the SUN, we had a picnic outing last Saturday and we had so much fun.
Sun glorious sun

A little about the yellow round ball;
Light and heat from the sun are the basis of life on earth. Sunlight drives plant life via photosynthesis, and animals survive by eating plants.

This yellow round ball is very old - it is about 4.6 billion years old. It is also very far away. Mom said it is 93,000,000 miles (is this how far I am to Muscles, Ms Sunhade, Opy, Marvin and my other doggie friends)

Should the sun gets too hot, have no fear, my girlfriend Miss Sunshade will be happy to give you the pawfect advice.

Ms Sunhade
Isn't she a charmer?

The same 3 breeds basking in the SUN

out in the sun

We would like to generate a warm Christmas greeting to our friends who are enjoying the cold white Christmas

Wherever we are, just remember the warmth from our owners are special. Much more special then the rays from the yellow round ball in the sky.

Christmas cards

This is scarry…………. I have received more than 10 Christmas cards from my buddies and I have not even started.
Xmas cards I received

We all know, Herbie has finished doing his cards and had sent them out too. I must say, Herbie is a jolly good friend. He came over on Wednesday to help me and Auntie Sam with the cards.

By Thursday, I was only half way through.
not even half way there

Herbie came over to help again. Boy this is strenuous and in no time, we were both tired.. Herbie said, “It is ok to rest for a while” That was it, we both fell asleep and Auntie Sam was left to finish the cards.
Herbie & I wz Xmas cards (Hebie is in the background)

I was woken up later as Auntie Sam need to stick the stamps onto the card, and what was my job – YOU GOT IT – STUCK MY TONGUE OUT to help.
tired from licking stamps (please can I have some water)

I am sure by next week; most of my friends will receive a card each from me with lots of licks (on the stamp)
