Tag tag tag
Well according to everyone’s blog, this is how we play the game
1. The player of this game starts with "5 weird things/habits about yourself."
2. Then player tag 5 friends and list their names.
3. The furries who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their 5 weird things/habits, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims.
4. Don't forget to leave your victim a comment that says "you're tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
My 5 weird habits
1. Statue is my second name. I can stand very still for hours even with distractions all around me.
2. I am a creature of habit. At 0730am, I get up to have my breakfast (usually cheese and milk). Come 5pm, I will be at the kitchen waiting for my meal to be served. Then at 9.30pm, I will be facing (literary with my face against the door) my bedroom door hoping and anticipating someone will open the door.
3. I am name Scuba for a reason. I love swimming – dry swimming (not mahjong) on the carpet. I will pretend to swim and bob my head up ever so often to try to breath.
4. I love face massage…. by bigger dogs. I would stick my face in all the bigger dogs’ mouth to have the well deserved massage.
5. Peace no fight. Kissing is my specialty. I love kissing human and dogs alike. If there is a fight, I will be there – squeezing in between the 2 fighting dogs and start to kiss them. When there are no dog fights, let me tell you, my kisses are intense so much so, my aunties think I am cleaning their dogs’ teeth.
Who shall I tag. Hmmmmmm I will tag Alpha, Beta, Charlie, Delta and Echo (my imaginary friends).

Birthdays
A birthday is the date on which a person was born. It is customary in many cultures (including the doggie culture) to celebrate the anniversary of one's birthday in some way, for example by having a birthday party with friends in which gifts are given. It is also customary to treat someone especially well and generally accede to their wishes on their birthday.
Talking about gifts, I had loads of nice gifts on my birthday. Because of my breed, I love chewing and you can see from the video which gift is most sort after
My mom tried to give me this sashimi treat (even open it) and I am not interested. I prefer the Dingo bone.
My mom was also thrill with her gifts. A particular someone (who truly love the both of us), gave mom ‘some kind of a pony’.

She has been asking “how do I maintain this?” Everyone said “give the pony a brush every time Scuba has one”. At first, I almost died. The thought of me having competition at home was too much but ‘NEIGH’. Then the other thing that cross my mind was going to bed with a female horse (I am not sure about the sex of this thing and am assuming it is female), would give me nightMAREs.
When I got introduce to this ‘animal’, I was so relieved. It was a handbag (or purse, since the particular someone is American) made of pony hair. I thought pony or horses, pull carriages but this one has a COACH tied to it. Auntie G said the hair comes from the pony’s tail (phew my hair is short. Look out all you long hair dogs).

The Lions and lioness are all around me (besides the Siberian Huskies).
The majestic lion (we doggies are no less for we are GRAND)
Wow, from what I know, they are the most dominant, spontaneously creative and extrovert of all the zodiacal characters. Besides that, they are also ambitious, courageous, dominant, enthusiastic, kind, strong willed, positive, independent, self-confident and warm. Thank goodness, I don’t believe in stars (I am the STAR).
First let me talk about the LIONS. My 3 friends Joey, Huskee and Tommy are born under that Big Cat sign. They both are celebrating their birthday tomorrow in Sentosa. Happy Barkday Joey, Huskee and Tommy.
Talk about lions they are tenacious and indeed, both Joey and Tommy are tenacious where balls are concern.
I got Tommy a blue ball but decided to keep it for myself. Anyway, he can play with it if he comes over
To be fair, Joey is courageous too – that is why he is with the SCDF in search and rescue.
Tommy on the other hand is energetic (boy has he got loads of them) and dominant that is why he always win when comes to disagreement.
Oh and Huskee. He is strong willed and I believe that’s why he get’s everything.

Next, let me talk about the Lioness in my life (I love them all)
To begin, there is my mom. Let me tell you, she is the ALPHA in my life. Definitely ambitious, strong willed. independent and self confident. She runs and controls my life. Quite fiery at times if I may add (not only is she the Lioness but she is born under the Sun’s number – OUCH).
My 2 lioness are my godmothers. I have 2 (one Singaporean and the other one Japanese).
My Singaporean godmother is lovely. She makes meat patties for me once maybe twice a week. I think she bears the softer side of the lion – warm and enthusiastic. The other one is my Japanese godmother. She is tenacious and has a passion for luxury….very DEAR to me (hehe, I mean she has expensive taste)
Last but not least, my god-aunt (I think that is what she is to me, after all she is my Singaporean godmother’s sister). She is sincere, genuine and trusting
Here they are: My 2 godmothers and godaunt
Lions do have a naughty side too. (Check this out) - They have a strong sex drive and are so attracted to the opposite sex that they find it hard to be constant; they can be so intensely sexual as to become dissolute. They may have numerous love affairs for their love of pleasure and beauty is liable to drive them from one attractive partner to another. Hmmmmm, let me check with all the 4 lioness to see if this is true.

My 2 friends, Huskee and Max came to visit
Huskee (my Little Big Brother). This is Huskee’s 2nd visit to my house. He was kept busy by his nose – smelling the carpet (Yes, Huskee, the smell are from friends who visit me regularly).
He was so excited. Can’t keep still. You can see from the picture – he wants to wander off again

Look at that cheeky face. He pee-ed on my doggy bank

Below picture is my piggy (no my doggie) bank (doesn’t he look so much like me – how can anyone mark my ‘twin’). Huskee, don’t tell anyone but I pee-ed over yours hahaha.

Now, for my 2nd guest. He is Max (pretty common name in the doggy world). Max is 5months old and he is indeed a very lucky dog. He was adopted from ASD.
Before coming to my house, mom thought it was a good idea to introduce us and see how we take to each other, so she took me to Max’s house.
"Hello Max, I am Scuba. Really nice meeting you".

We hit it off real well. After ‘inspecting’ each other, we even had a game of football (we both can’t decide who was going to be the goalkeeper)

Talking about energy, Max is so full of it. I was exhausted and he still wants to play.
"Hey go ask the maid to get me some water please"

He does look skinny and I made no qualms for telling him that. I said " you look a wee bit skinny. Better get you over to my place for fattening.
That's us at the end of the day

Yippy Home alone (Yup yup 3dogs and 2 cats)
Jack and Joey spent yesterday with me. Thursday 13th July was a day to remember – no human.
ONLY 3 terriers and 2 cats (yes the 3 terriers oops, I mean terrors chased Auntie S away).

For those who know Jack, he ALWAYS announces his arrival whether he is at home, at the park, at my house or at any of our friends’ house. Surprise, surprise – Jack did not announce his arrival yesterday. Don’t mean to be rude but I slept till it was wake up time before I realized Jack and Joey were at my place. Jack always look COOL but he is the barky one.

Among the 3 terrors and the cats, we promise not to tell what we did at home (Auntie S, you better check anything that provides mental stimulus for thinking aka FOOD).
Check the meat section

Check the cookie jar

Check the fruits in the fridge (ohhhhh Jack and Joey love those bananas)

Check the treats department

Sorry Ginger and Pepper, we live in a clean house so no mousy for you. Knowing you guys, both of you are too lazy to chase the rats around...oh excuse me we live in harmony no chasing rats, no war no terrorising

I am sure even if we have them, you will live happily with them to the extent of sharing your milk.

“In dear” (where does mom want me to go – in the bedroom, in the kitchen, in the closet)
Before she went away, there was something about her that didn’t make sense to me. I kept asking her where she was going and everytime, she says ‘in dear’ – Where does she want me to go? I am already IN the house. Does she want me to go in the bedroom, in the bathroom, in the kitchen – yeah good idea.
Anyway, it was a short trip. She left on Wednesday and just got back this morning.
She told me she was in a country where animals are tolerated or in fact highly regarded. Something about them walking / roaming on very busy roads.

She showed me pictures of some of the animals but I still don’t know where she went or what dog breed they were. Well at least one of them look a bit like me.
How come these animals are not leashed in public?

Siberian Bull Pawty (24th June 2006)

No birthday is complete without the cakes. Yes indeed, 3 cakes for the 3 birthday boys ( I was told Rafv almost finished half his own cake whilst Chewie and I had to share ours – NOT FAIR). Jaffe’s Papa tried Chewies’ fruit cake too. Good for dogs good for human.
If you had read my previous post, you would have seen my birthday wish and Guess What, my wish came true ………Thunder (extreme right) whom I have not seen for ages came to the pawty. Oh I was so glad to see him. He got the most kisses from me.
As usual, the human wanted a doggie group photos (not many of my friends were coorperative) but then we tried……
My other friends who came were:

At the end of the party, my friends were given gift trays – compliments from the 3 birthday boys
The gift trays are filled with representation –
1) The numbers 3&4 you notice represents our age (4 for Rafv’s and 3 for me. Chewie’s 5, must be below somewhere)
2)The alphabets contain our names
3)Doggie shapes represents our friends
4) The star represents that all our friends are STARs
5) The round pattie represents my round butt wahahaha.
The goodies are all home cooked so I hope mom told everyone that it has to be refrigerated.
Thank you all for making us feel special yesterday.
Photos complements from Jaffe’s papa. Herbie’s mom and dad took some too which I will post later.

June – my birthday month
When I turned ONE, I celebrated my birthday with 2 Siberian Huskies (Rafv and Thunder). I wonder where and how is Thunder? I haven't seen him for a looooooong time. If I am granted one wish, I would like to see Thunder again.

Last year, it was only Rafv and I (we had a McDonald's kids party.....I am serious)

The odds are with (not against and not even) me this year. This year (3rd), I will be celebrating my barkday with 2 Siberian Huskies.
Rafv and I

+ Chewie

The theme this year is Siberian Bull Pawty.
Auntie S is busy doing cookies and treats for my friends. I am not kidding she is really doing treats (drying meat and other stuff)
Barkdays are not barkdays without the cakes. And I know mom is baking 3 birthday cakes this Saturday.
Rafv, Chewie and I have told our owners who we wish to see and play with on our barkday pawty and I wonder if they take us seriously. If we miss out other friends, please accept our apologies. It is not intentional.

Noise / Action / Thoughts
I do make pig sound, so say my mom and some of my aunties.
The sound I make is kind of a snarfling, snorfeling, and most time a grunting sighing noise like a pig. This is usually when I really want something, like attention or a treat.

Action
You have all seen my leopard / commando crawl.
The action is call creeping, creepy crawls, commando crawl, G.I. Joe or Sneaky Snake. It’s an act of me dragging myself around the house using only the forepaws. Sometimes back and forth in one place. I stop once a while to scratch (this is really my distraction) See video of my in action.
Thoughts
This is very common in Bull Terrier. For whatever reason in our minds, we like to stand under things (especially if it tickle our heads or backs) for a long period of time. We don’t do anything, we just stand there kind of like posing or we also look like we are deep in thoughts.
Apparently, this is call TRANCING

I love doing all the 3 things and that's why I am a Bullie.
(I am definitely a Bull Terrier – as this is common in Bullies)

Find the bone – brain booster (now you guys know why I am always thinking)
Scuba can’t remember where he buried his bone –
Is it under the rock, in the garden, under the porch, or under the tree?
If only one of the following sentences is true, where is Scuba's bone?
1. The bone is under the rock.
2. The bone is in the garden or under the tree.
3. The bone is under the rock or under the porch.
4. The bone is not in the garden.
Answer - The bone is in the garden.
Why?
If sentence #1 is true, then sentence #3 is also true, but only one sentence can be true, so both #1 and #3 are false-the bone is not under the rock or under the porch.
That leaves the garden and the tree, so let's look at sentences #2 and #4. If sentence #2 is true, then sentence #4 is false. That would leave us with just 1 true sentence, but is the bone in the garden or under the tree?
We know that sentence #4 is false, so the bone must be in the garden.
No no no, the bones(not the bone) are in my house.
Mom as usual consulted Dr H L Tan to see if I can be given the green light to chew on bones. Dr Tan said “Ok but must be BIG knuckle bones”
Abracadabra – bones appeared (Yes they are mine all mine)

…… then I heard mom telling Auntie Sam – “Herbie, Tommy, Rafv and Chewie can have them too. Well guess I have to share them with my friends.
My sister, Ginger helped me ‘sneak’ one out. The deal is, she keep a look out so that mom and Auntie S does not know one is missing and in return, she can sleep in my bed.

Yummy, I particularly love the Marrow and the cartilage
Some facts about
Marrow. Believe it or not, the marrow cavity of bone is composed mainly of fat and blood components... high quality nutrients, to be sure, but the minimal reward for scraping out a bit of fatty marrow hardly warrants the status of it being declared a daily requirement for a dog.
Cartilage is 50 percent collagen (a poorly digestible fibrous connective tissue) and mucopolysaccharides which are chains of glucose molecules in combination with mucous...whatever that means
Fantastic and delicious. Ginger can now share my bed. Now I am contented

What a treat after so long

It is pretty tiring chewing the bone. I am going to have a little snooze and hopefully dream of more bones to come.
